Video Editing Services

Video has become the primary format through which people evaluate products, brands, and services before buying. The question is no longer whether your brand needs video — that debate is over. The question is whether your video looks good enough to convert the viewer, or whether it looks like something that was shot on a phone and assembled in a free app. Professional video editing is the bridge between raw footage and content that builds trust and drives action.

What Our Video Editing Service Covers

Our video editing team handles a broad range of commercial and content video projects. The service is not limited to simple cuts and transitions — we work across the full post-production pipeline:

  • Assembly and structure editing — Selecting the best takes from your footage, cutting for pacing, building the narrative structure of the video from your raw clips.
  • Colour grading — Applying a consistent, intentional look to your footage. Colour grading is what makes the difference between video that looks amateur and video that looks produced. We work in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere for professional-grade colour work.
  • Audio cleaning and mixing — Reducing or eliminating background noise, balancing voice levels, mixing background music at a level that supports the video without competing with speech.
  • Motion graphics and titles — Animated lower thirds, title cards, text overlays, branded introductions and outros. Clean, professional graphics that identify your brand and communicate key information clearly.
  • Short-form content editing — Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts. Vertical and square format exports optimised for each platform’s requirements, with captions and visual styling appropriate for mobile-first viewing.
  • Product video editing — E-commerce product videos, demonstration reels, unboxing videos. Clean, professional cuts with appropriate pacing to showcase product features effectively.

Why Colour Grading Changes Everything

Of all the elements that separate professional video from amateur footage, colour grading has the single largest visual impact. Raw footage from any camera — even a professional cinema camera — looks flat and unfinished until it has been graded. Colour grading creates the look of the video: the contrast, the skin tones, the mood, the consistency across different shooting conditions within the same project.

Think about any film or TV show you recognise by its visual style. That distinctive look is colour grading. The warm, slightly desaturated palette of a prestige drama. The high-contrast, punchy look of an action sequence. The bright, airy feel of a lifestyle brand video. None of these looks come from the camera — they are applied in post-production by a colourist.

For commercial and brand video, colour grading ensures that your footage looks consistent across the entire video even when different shots were taken at different times or under different lighting conditions, and that the overall visual tone matches your brand identity and the intended emotional response of the content.

How to Send Us Your Footage

We work with footage shared via Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or direct upload through our project submission system. There is no file format limitation on our end — we work with footage from iPhones, DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, cinema cameras, GoPros, and drones. RAW and LOG footage from cinema cameras is preferred for the best colour grading results, but we work with whatever you have.

When submitting a project, include a brief describing the purpose of the video, the intended platform and audience, the mood or visual style you are targeting, and any reference videos that show the kind of edit you are going for. The more specific the brief, the closer the first draft will be to what you want.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to edit a 2-minute brand video?

A 2-minute brand video with colour grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics typically takes 2–3 business days for the first draft. This assumes the footage is well-organised and a clear brief has been provided. Revision rounds are standard — most projects go through 1–2 rounds of feedback before final delivery. Rush delivery is available if you have a hard deadline.

Can you add subtitles or captions to my video?

Yes. We add burned-in captions for social media videos where they are essential for autoplay viewing without sound, or provide separate SRT files for platforms that support external subtitle tracks. We can transcribe the audio and generate captions ourselves, or you can provide a transcript. Captions are styled to match your brand guidelines on request.

Do you source background music, or do I provide it?

Both options work. You can provide music you have licensed, or we can source royalty-free tracks from libraries we have access to and include them in the project. For commercial use, using properly licensed music is essential — do not use music from YouTube or Spotify directly. We will advise on appropriate licensing if you are not sure.

Can you edit videos that are already partially edited?

Yes. If you have a rough cut or a partially assembled sequence, we can take over from that point — improving the edit, adding colour grading and graphics, or simply polishing what you have already built. Providing the project file from Premiere, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve makes this more efficient, but we can also work from an exported rough cut if the source files are included.
